FWIW these are my special use cases from above connection list:
Wired Ethernet: I used it a few times a year, when I have to connect the 1st time to some special HW for the network configuration or when I'M joining networks that have no DHCP server. [All @work tasks]
Mobile Broadband: Until Covid I used it serveral times when I borrowed USB Modems for work trips. Because it's an 'unusual task' I really enjoyed the 'simplicity' with the GUI support. On the other hand: doesn't Plasma Mobile have it's own special App for it that could be used on desktop too?
@kossebau: I've installed current neon-dev image but your changes are not there yet (according to the git in the version):
achim@neon-dev:~$ grep VERSION= /etc/os-release
VERSION="Unstable Edition"
achim@neon-dev:~$ dpkg -l kio-ldap | tail -1
ii kio-ldap 22.12.2+p22.04+tunstable+git20230225.0326-0 amd64 library for accessing LDAP - development files
I'll check again the next days ..
FWIW: I use for LDAP tests at work the UCS core server. Answer a few question during the ~ 10 min installation and you get a working debian based OpenLDAP server with a webinterface. Download is at: https://www.univention.de/download/download-ucs/
On the other hand if it's merged to master I could do some tests with the neon dev edition + such a test LDAP server at work.
Strip Role on the right hand side as for all other strings?
FWIW: 'console' is listed twice.
Just my 2 cents:
When there no reminders or attachments the labels align nicly horizontally with the button text on their right.
When a reminder or attachment is added the top of the labels text and the top of the button (not the button text) are aligned. IMHO that looks a bit strange.
