No, I had checked the git config already.
As I wrote in my previous comment, the only place the weird email shows up seems to be in the "use a private email" for the "commit email" setting in my user profile, which I didn't change for years.
Sorry, I don't know about the inner workings of that hook.
I created my account years ago and didn't change my email settings since then. The address in question seems to be what is used when the user profile is configured to "use a private email" for setting "commit email". This setting obviously has not caused any problems in the past. Sounds like some new/changed audit policies were put into place since my last commit about four months ago.
As I lack insight to the merge hook and audit policy, I have no idea how to fix this problem at the moment.
Thanks, appreciated.
Hi Christoph,
does that mean there's something to do on my side?
I'm still on Qt 5 and checking out an older git tag to manage to create the HTML files etc., then copy the results to a recent branch. Perhaps that's causing problems. For my last update that seemed to have worked, though. At least there were no complains ;-)
Any advice for an alternative approach is welcome.
Cheers Andreas

systemd defines a couple of groups of options which may appear in multiple sections of a systemd unit configuration file.
The use of these groups in the syntax highlighting definition file was partially incorrect, leading to some valid options not being highlighted and some invalid options being highlighted.
The following changes were made to fix this:

Oops, sorry for messing up.
I copied my changes and the artifacts created by cmake
to my usually used branch and git push
ed again.
That seems to have worked.

WARNING: I just could not get it to compile with latest main branch.
No Qt6, KF6, ... here yet.
I did git checkout tags/v5.103.0
as that seems to be the latest published version.
Compilation worked fine after that, but I ended up with a detached git head.
No idea about a better approach.
Hope it still works for merging.
From systemd side there are mostly the usual additions of options and option values.
