the icon and "zoom out to the left" is understandable to me, but is that what it actually does
"Zoom out to the left" and the other icons also make sense to me, but I'm not sure if that's what the buttons want to say.
This is definitely better, but you can still just click OK and add it without seeing this message beforehand. What if you merged the two tabs?
I'd recommend making all the handles a bit longer, so the magnifying glass is more recognizable. Otherwise I think most of these look great and are easier to understand than the current ones.
A possible problem I see is that at a first glance these don't look visually centered, and they take a bit long to scan. So the end result might be that people just think it's an improperly made icon.
v7 looks great, but I'd interpret it more as zoom to fit compared to v6
I personally would find this useful. You could even consider adding an option to launch in this mode by default.
Personally, not a fan of this, the current style works better when used in a panel. Should this still be accepted, it would also need to be changed in Kickoff/plasmoids and the task manager to avoid more inconsistency. Breeze tabs also use a top-line highlight (at least for the time being) and kde.org also uses the current style in a few places.
I noticed that the symbolic versions of the new smartphone icons from !296 are blurry at 100% scaling, so I redrew them to make them more consistent with other symbolic icons while staying as close to the original designs as possible. I also made them use colors from the active color scheme in place of hardcoded color values.

is there a typo or are you talking about the icons I made a couple months ago?

Who should I bug about this? @kloecker?
Arianna could become a successful app on Windows + the Microsoft Store. Related to: https://phabricator.kde.org/T9575 (I figured this isn't a bug but a development issue.)
Yeah, I'd like more skeumorphism too (like how Ocean was before it got mostly flattened). I think if we increase the border radius, more 'realism' goes well with more roundness.
