KCM: Explain what being the Primary screen means · 1b9b190d
      Nate Graham authored
Right now we don't explain what this does, so users are free to guess
what it does and create their own expectations, most of which will not
be met and cause dissatisfaction and bug reports. So let's clearly
      explain what it does.

X11: align touchscreen to internal display · 09b988e6
      Marco Martin authored
On Wayland is the compositor itself that keeps the touchscreen coordinates mapped to the size and position of the internal screen, also keeping rotation into account.
on X11, needs to be done via XInput, do it when KScreen actually applies a configuration.

Use more generic name for panel connectors · 8bd4c098
David Edmundson authored and Nate Graham's avatar Nate Graham committed
Kscreen replaces the vendor name for panel connectors replacing it with
a more user facing term "Laptop screen" as the user probably doesn't
know the model of their laptop screen.

The problem is this makes assumptions about the form factor which could
easily be a mobile, tablet and not a laptop.

The name "built-in" conveys as much information to solve the user's task
at hand of identifying which screen is which.

KCM: better handle revert timer and buttons · 41770e25
Méven Car authored and Nate Graham's avatar Nate Graham committed
      BUG: 447199
      FIXED-IN: 5.23.5

The issue was that the `revertSettings` method was called when the timer timed
out, the settings were reverted, the confirmMsg overlay closed and called a
second time `revertSettings` when the kcm backend has not been reloaded yet.

This makes sure this won't happen, as either the timer of the revert button
will revert the Settings but not simply closing `confirmMsg. This makes the
code simpler by removing book keeping but instead using only the events.

KCM: Reduce settings rollback timer to 15 seconds · 99398762
Méven Car authored and Nate Graham's avatar Nate Graham committed
If the rollback would be necessary, we shouldn't make the user wait
for 30 seconds. They may struggling to click on the revert button in
the first place. 15 or maybe 10 seconds should be enough.
