Recenter frame when resuming session after guiding lost
It has been brought to my attention recently that Ekos is missing quite a significant functionality i.e. recentering a frame when resuming acquisition after guiding is resumed. Current approach resumes acquisition (after guiding resumes) at the current scope position. This optimistically assumes that guiding is resumed seconds after guiding star lost. Such an approach does not address a need to resume session after minutes and even hours. As the result frames acquired after a session is resumed are shifted and depending on idle time, significant part of frame is lost for subsequent stacking.
I would like to propose a change of procedure for acquisition restoration after guiding is lost. After guiding is back we should plate solve and slew to target before restoring acquisition. This will ensure that no frame shift occurs between guiding failures and the procedure will become guiding-idle-time insensitive.
