Creating a new algorithm to determine the spacing and the number of major axis ticks using the algorithm of kst. The tick values look much better with it, because the start is not forced to be exactly at the range start.

The majorTicksNumber option can be used to adjust the base desired majorTicksNumber for the algorithm. So the majorTicksNumber might be different to the final number, but the tick positions are better. If the exact number desired, turn off the automatic determination
