Icon sizes on mobile
Currently, we are multiplying the icon size of every icon by 1.5 on mobile. The goal is to help usability by making touch targets easier to touch. However, this is something that in my opinion has a negative impact on the design of Kirigami applications on mobile.
There are multiple reasons why. First this makes many icons blurry. They were designed for a specific size and for example a desktop icon with a size of 16 is now 24 instead of 22 for the next correct icon size. Same with 22 become 33 instead 32. This could be simply fixed by hardcoding the size instead of just multiplying by 1.5.
Another problem is that some icons are becoming ridiculously big when multiplied by 1.5. IMHO it doesn't make sense to increase the size of already big enough icons. The premise of increasing the touch targets is not valid here. Otherwise, we are getting things like this:
Yet another problem is that the drawer handles are getting very big and have more chance to hides valuable content underneath them but also have a horribly ugly design when moving them to the top. See:
I'm not sure that do to with this problem, other than just not scaling the drawer handles because we don't really need to since they are already big enough even on mobile.
