This feature was introduced for Kolab Resource, which is going to be removed soon. No other resource actually implemented them, and we never handled relations between items from different resources. Additionally, there was no UI how to interact with the relations, so users were most likely unaware of them anyway.

This will allow us to remove a chunk of code from Akonadi that maybe worked, maybe didn't and no-one actually used it anyway.
