"Archive Project" does not adapt the project file correctly
``With "Archive Project" the project file is not completely adapted to the new location where the media files are now located. A project archived in this way cannot be used. In my example when I open such a kdenlive project it reports:
The project file contains 165 missing clips, you can still works with their proxies.
The project file contains a lot of with the orginal path of the file and contains the proxy file only. proxy/3400488921a7960dc5b42e8de780d815.mkv /media/USB3-Disk/BilderAlben_USB3_Disk/2019-Frankreich/Videos/27-28.Dune/s3650024.mp4 I think the project file should be adapted in such way that pathes of all files point to the object-directories in the archived directory (e.g. videos) In my case the directory /media/USB3-Disk war not preset when the project was opend. "Archive Projcet" copies all used files into the Arch-Dir but does not reference the files in the project file. Arch-Dir: /home/disk1/Fertige_Projekte/kdenlive/Frankreich-2019 After I connected the USP3-Disk I get not the message from kdenlive:
The project file contains missing clips or files. Missing proxies will be recreated after opening Title Image images/CampingMobil.gif Title Image images/Gesang_Muelhausen.jpg Proxy clip 165 missing proxy clips, will be recreated on project opening
This was NOT true. "images/CampingMobil.gif" and "images/Gesang_Muelhausen.jpg" exists and Why are the proxies now suddenly missing, when they could have been used before? I only made the USB3-disk available.
2019-Frankreich.kdenlive Sorry but it's a large project.
Additional: In the project used s3490024.mp4.mlt file was NOT copied during archive to Arch-directoy but path was changed to videos/s3490024.mp4.mlt
Used: kdenlive-19.12.0a-x86_64.appimage Used today: kdenlive-19.12.1-x86_64.appimage ``
EDIT by ME:
-
Change the archive type from tar to zip (size limitation of the tar file: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421565) -
Opening the archived project crashes https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=420494
