Allow zones in project bin to be listed chronologically
When working on projects for which the source material is just one or two very long clips of up to several hours, I like being able to divide these clips in many zones and keep them in the project bin with labels describing the contents.
This allows me to puzzle the final video together without having to clutter the timeline with temporarily discarded clips I may later decide I needed after all.
Unfortunately, kdenlive does not appear to provide a native way to order zones chronologically, and list them in the order they appear at within the clip. I believe this would be the zone equivalent of sorting clips 'by date', and would save me countless hours endlessly scrolling through the project bin trying to find successive clips, or manually maintaining a naming system so they appear in order when sorted alphabetically.
The left image shows an example of how zones tend to disorganize themselves throughout the lifetime of a project. In the right image, I re-ordered the zones graphically to demonstrate the order in which I would intuitively prefer them to show up. The earliest zone in the clip is listed first, the next zone is listed second, and the last zone is listed at the bottom (or vice versa).
I am currently using AppImage 19.12.1. The latest nightly version contains some fantastic new sorting and filtering options for the project bin, but unfortunately none of them seem to affect zones as described. I hope this suggestion has potential, thank you in advance!
