Zone rendering not working (1 frame rendered)

Looking at this post: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=265&t=162596 (Kdenlive for Windows)

rendering a zone, produces just a single frame rendering.

downloaded latest nightly for Windows and i can confirm that the issue is still present.
