Contour ShuttleXpress not recognized as a Jog Shuttle

maybe this is right, or maybe this happens only on Windows, but this Jog Shuttle (the most affordable Jog that can bought online) seems not recognized as a Jog Shuttle.

creating a profile (that emulates mouse and keyboard movements/keys) this can be used as an alternative method to move timeline (like the keyboard).. but there is no mode to set a button to do something specific on kdenlive (for example adding an effect)

i see that last posts about Kdenlive and Contour devices is from 2017 and are just related to add this input device as a working device on OpensSuse but after that date... no more infos about JogShuttle devices.
