They cut the clip from the layer using inversed COMPOSITE_OVER algorithm
and therefore produce seamless results.

Their drawback is that they produce too sharp results when cutting
from fully opaque layers.

Due to string freeze these actions are hidden from the UI right. They don't
have any actions assigned.
