Consistency: train type vs train code (NL)
KTrip does not always display information about the chosen transport vehicle for a connection in a consistent manner. For example when planning railroad trips in the Netherlands sometimes a colloquial human readable train type (e.g. "Intercity") and sometimes the code/ID of train/service is used (e.g. IC1234). Note: the above mentioned "train type" is really just the commonly used colloquial designation for the class of train service, it is not an obscure technical type/designation for rolling stock like VIRM.
Either option as currently used "works", but KTrip should apply the same convention consistently for trips. E.g. when dealing with Dutch railways either always use "Intercity"/"Sprinter"/"Stoptrein"/"Intercity Direct"/"Thalys"/"Eurostar", "ICE International" etc. or the service code/ID (ICD126, IC2357, etc.).
You can observe the current behaviour by planning your trip using Dutch railway stations such as "Amsterdam Centraal", "Rotterdam Centraal", "Den Haag Centraal", "Utrecht Centraal", "Schiphol Airport" etc.
