Right now if my index window is small i have to scroll down to use my bookmarks. Users are unable to re-arrange, add, edit the items in the places menu unlike dolphin. I think it's more space efficient to just allow people to use bookmarks and places as the same thing like dolphin does. If people accidentally remove an important place, there can easily be a settings menu item to restore default places items or something. An alternative is to allow hiding sections like places so that only bookmarks can be used.camilo higuitacamilo higuitahttps://invent.kde.org/maui/index-fm/-/issues/32AppStream metadata is not being installed2021-02-20T23:31:42ZAndrés Barrantes SilmanAppStream metadata is not being installedThe included file 'org.kde.index.appdata.xml' is not being installed, it should be located at /usr/share/metainfo/The included file 'org.kde.index.appdata.xml' is not being installed, it should be located at /usr/share/metainfo/https://invent.kde.org/maui/index-fm/-/issues/35Error when creating compressed files using 7Zip and AR formats2021-02-09T20:37:35ZUri HerreraError when creating compressed files using 7Zip and AR formatsWhen creating a compressed file in Index that uses 7Zip and AR, a dialog appears that reads Compress Error (see below). KDE's Dolphin file manager has an option to switch between Windows Explorer per-folder sort, and per-view sort order.
However, Index (AUR `index-fm-git` 0274839fe67f034d340849c5bd57ef00c7fc33bd) does not have an option to save sort order for each folder. Instead, it only offers global sort or per-tab sort. Is it possible to add such a feature?

Is there some other package that needs installed for dark mode, or is this feature WIP?

I couldn't find an overview of keyboard shortcuts. Is there something like this. One of the specific commands I'm looking for example is if there is a way to trigger the `search` / `filter` toggle with a keyboard shortcut. Or to open the search bar in the desired toggled state with a shortcut.
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post such a question. If that's the case please let me know where to go with it.https://invent.kde.org/maui/index-fm/-/issues/57Can't scroll with the mouse outside Plasma2022-02-07T00:46:52ZJuan Adrián Castro QuintanaCan't scroll with the mouse outside PlasmaHi! I been playing with i3 and other tiling window managers lately. I thought that Index would be a great graphical file manager due its convergent behaviour, but I found that I can't scroll through the list of files. On Plasma works fine though. I tried many window managers: i3wm, herbstluftwm, sway and wayfire, but didn't worked.
Here's a video of index running inside i3wm.
