Add direct aKode backend. · 262b4c70

Note: This is mostly intended to be used together with soundservers like polypaudio,
jackd or ALSA's dmix, but can also be used for direct playback.

Fix bug 89113 (Add functionality to switch to next/prev album in album random play), except for the previous album part.
It appears in the Player menu at this point (appropriately disabled depending
on whether album random play is enabled and whether or not we're playing).
The default shortcut is Alt + Ctrl + Up (or Ctrl + MultimediaNext), both of
      which are global shortcuts.
Also, include the Makefile.am change from last commit, although I'm pretty sure
-lm would have ended up linked in regardless.

Fix bug 96265 (use logarithmic volume scaling) in CVS. · 38a75e26

I'm still torn as to whether it's a bug or a feature, but I'm closing this now anyways, as Scott can backport if necessary.

      Michael Pyne authored
Oh boy, gstreamer 0.8 changed the size of the volume element's volume property from float to double. Of course, this couldn't be caught during compilation since gstreamer uses C, and the function in question is essential scanf() style, but at least I was able to set speed records recompiling this damn file 50 times.
Committing now because this is a memory corruptor bug (although I don't think it's a security flaw).

Crashing due to removing the QObject for a KIO::Job is bad, mmmkay? ;) · c77b76e1
      Michael Pyne authored
I solved this issue by having CoverIconViewItem derive from KIconViewItem in addition to QObject, and making sure that the KIO::Job it owns is killed in the dtor if it's still active.
This has the bonus of stopping downloads of images that haven't loaded yet when the dialog closes, thus solving 2 bugs with one commit. :)
Note for bug 93256, background downloads won't stop when you select an image because for all we know a better image could be found after the user has selected one. Downloads do stop when the dialog closes, or when you choose a different size.

         - a) Qt gives us a nice QByteArray, we don't need to roll our own
         - b) char *foo = new char[someSize] isn't deleted with deleted with delete foo
              but rather delete [] foo
         - c) This is the 4th memory leak that I've fixed in this code; be a bit more

*) Pass the parent pointer into the QObject constructor
      *) Style stuff
