This message is a little annoying, as it takes up screen space, and pops up almost immediately when closed. This message is only helpful for the first time you use the effect, and after that it takes up screen space and does not tell you anything new.
A better way to get the same information across would be to display a message on the "Analyze" button itself. For bonus points have the progress bar also display in the Analyze button, saving some more screen space. Is it even possible to have a progress bar display on a button?
This link shows what I am talking about, only for HTML instead of QT.
https://www.codingnepalweb.com/button-progress-bar-animation/
I know I harp on about screen space, but kdenlive displays a LOT of information, and even a FullHD screen struggles to put all the information in a readable way... And any bit of the UI that takes up screen space for no good reason becomes an annoyance.

I have tested this with the kdenlive build from sources from git on 2023-05-04, as well as a recent Appimage version.
If I then click somewhere else on the timeline, and then click on the clip with the motion tracker effect applied, the motion tracker effect is in it's initial state.

The stabilize filter requires to see every frame of a clip. Unfortunately, Kdenlive does frame skipping in the project monitor, and I have not been able to find a way to turn that off in the settings.
Is there such a functionality and I am just missing it? What I am currently doing is just stepping through the clip frame by frame, but that gets old quick.

When the slider on "Lift" is on it's "0" position, moving around the color selector does not have any effect.
However, if you move the slider to any value that is not 0, moving the color selector around does have an effect on the color of the shadows.
It would seem to me that the color selector should have an effect no matter where the intensity slider is positioned.
Issue 2:
When the slider is positioned away from 0, and a color adjustment is made, the color adjustment is re-set if the slider is dragged to 0, or slowly past 0.
---
Playing around with the effect, I can see that Gamma and Gain also reset their color adjustment when their slider reaches 0. The big difference is that the range for Gamma and Gain is 0 to 2 and 0 to 4 respectively, while for lift the range is -1 to 0 to 1.
In my humble opinion, the color adjustment in Lift, Gamma and Gain should not be reset unless specifically requested by the user.
Reading through the documentation for this effect in MLT, I am a little mystified. It states that the minimum value for lift is 0, and in Kdenlive we are able to do -1. How is that possible? Could this be the reason that this effect misbehaves?
The documentation also only mentions red, green and blue values, so it would appear that the slider is some sort of mechanism to adjust all the channel values at once, and is internal to Kdenlive. I have a gut feeling that the slider position is multiplied with the channel values, which is why it zeros out the color adjust at 0.
Let's say that when you select a color offset, you adjust the ratio between red, green and blue. This is a ratio that must be preserved whatever the intensity the slider is set at. If anywhere in the equation you are multiplying the slider value with the red, green, and blue, that ratio between red, green and blue will be removed if the slider value is 0, because anything multiplied by 0 is 0.
It might be an idea to have the slider values only as a range of positive integers, and then translate that to a percentage to be added or taken away from the actual red, green and blue channels to avoid the trap of multiply by 0.https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kdenlive/-/issues/1394"ghost" keyframe copied only on some clip2022-10-04T18:32:52ZDavy Bartoloni"ghost" keyframe copied only on some clipi openend this https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kdenlive/-/issues/1391 but seems there is something more... **a "ghost" keyframe** ... placed (on paste effect) only on some clips.. probably this starts from a "currupted" origin? or from...i openend this https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kdenlive/-/issues/1391 but seems there is something more... **a "ghost" keyframe** ... placed (on paste effect) only on some clips.. probably this starts from a "currupted" origin? or from a not complete cleaned clipboard?

Affected features: Video Equalizer
Tested on OS-Version: Windows 10Pro 21H1 64-bit
Tested on HW: Intel i7-3740QM 2.70 GHz, 8GB RAM, SSD, NVIDIA K2000M
Use case:
drag one clip to the timelines as main video
drad one clip above as overlay video and resize to gain a PiP effect
apply the effect "video equalizer" to the overlay video
Expected result: "video equalizer" should not affect the main video clip
Observed result:
the main video will be blanked out if the overlay clip has the "video equalizer" effect applied. This will happen both at the project monitor as well as with the rendered video file.
