Add User-defined Proxy Clip Settings for Archive
Currently there's an option when archiving a project to save the Proxy Clips when available. My request is that the user can configure specific settings for how all the clips should be archived. Maybe one for photos too?
For example, for an archive that needs to be sent to someone else for a preview, I'd like very low quality video (like 1fps, low resolution), but good audio.
Does the archiver use ffmpeg in the background? I know it uses the MELT engine, which I'm still learning (very cool stuff!) If the archiver has access to ffmpeg, maybe the user could have ability to add flags. Or maybe even an optional user-defined script, in the format: script , that each clip went through before adding the file to the archive?
The project I'm working on will ask the user to archive their project and upload it to a website. I'm currently quarantining in rural Virginia (USA) on a DSL connection with a 1mps upload speed, so anything I can do to make the upload smaller is very helpful!
