Problem with song rating
I'm switching to a new music player and would like to take my song ratings with me. These were previously stored in a database and the new player (DeaDBeeF) supports rating frames. The rating is stored in the frame "rating" with values between 0-5.
However, it doesn't work to create the "rating" via kid3-cli: set rating 5 2
Creates a frame that is displayed with "Bewertung". However, this frame is ignored by DeaDBeeF. If I first rate a file with DeaDBeeF, a frame called "rating" is created which can also be displayed and edited as "rating" in kid3-cli.
I think the problem is that kid3 creates a popularimeter frame and DeaDBeeF just a normal frame called rating. This is certainly the reason why both tags can exist in one file if you use the programs one after the other. Can I still create such simple tags with kid3 or do I have to contact the DeaDBeeF developer? But this is likely to be complicated, as the song rating is implemented via a third party plugin.
