kid3-cli vs kid3 tag rating/advisory
Hi, I am trying to set the Rating/Advisory tag using a script and kid3-cli and so far, it is not working. I tried to do the same change via the GUI and it shows properly in Apple Music.
Here is the command I tried:
kid3-cli -c "set Rating/Advisory 4" '/Path/to/Track.m4a'
Some websites are talking about the ITUNESADVISORY tag.
I tried this command unsuccessfully:
kid3-cli -c "set itunesadvisory 4" '/Path/to/Track.m4a'
In kid3, the tag shows as Rating/Advisory.
While I was troubleshooting the issue, first, I removed all the tags. I added the Rating/Advisory tag in kid3-cli. then I added the Rating Advisory tag in kid3
I ran the following command:
kid3-cli -c "get " '/Path/to/Track.m4a'
and received the following result:
File: MP4 AAC 16 bit 186 kbps 44100 Hz 2 Channels 1:48
Name: Test Track.mp4
Tag 2: MP4
Which means that kid3 and kid3-cli are not saving the tag in the same way. I understand that "Rating/Advisory" is simply an interface identifier but what is the proper tag in kid3-cli to get the same result as the GUI?
Possible values for the tag in Kid3 seems to be
0 - Not set
2 - Clean
4 - Explicit
