automatically pop and push on update targets · ec8af4fd
      Harald Sitter authored
I am entirely certain update should be run automatically and d-i should not
be in the git tree AT ALL but instead our delta should be maintained
      as patches.

since I don't wanna reinvent this seeing as ubiquity is meant to go away
maybe this decade still (-.-) we'll instead auto pop and push and warn
      about patchering

without this people constantly forget to reapply the patches

(I am not sure this will help since it may get ignored, but it's at least
something; and assuming the patches apply cleanly this should at least
work in those cases in our favor)

give efi patch more context so it can apply correctly · bcf6cdc4
      Harald Sitter authored
with the previous amount of context it had a chance of getting applied
to the findfs() somehow. I am not entirely confident how though

new patch has 5 context lines which should prevent this from happening
      again

add a new target to unmangle docker containers · f49acbd0
      Harald Sitter authored
our images (and docker upstream images as well, albeit less so) are
crippled to reduce the disk footprint by ditching locales and manpages and
some other stuff. since ubiquity requires iso-codes locale files to
generate some metadata files we'll automatically unmangle the system if
      necessary

this should also fix arm64 builds where exactly this seems to fail right
      now

      This reverts commit 79da1a14.

There is no reason why this would make sense and in fact Jon doesn't
quite understand why it fails either.
