Fix accidentally large potential nick sorting timeout

Friedrich W. H. Kossebau requested to merge work/kossebau/fixrandomlargenicksorttimeout into 1.7

I have not understood yet why the randomness is needed, but I would guess this should be a value [0,2000), not [0..2147483647/2000)? So 2 secs, not > 17 minutes :)
