Option to detach a chat from the main window

Remember Google Talk, Hangouts or MSN? You had a main window where there would be the chat list item with new windows for each chat:

But due to mobile first design in recent years and a couple of convergence attemps from Microsoft, Canonical and even Apple currently, the chat window and the contact/group list was eventually fused together in modern day clients such as Telegram or WhatsApp Web (which looks better but you might have to switch rooms constantly)

So here's something revolutionary:

Why Not Both?

What I propose is that there should be a setting when on desktop to enable a three dots indicator to appear at the left of the chat name, where you could drag a specific chat out. You could still click a different chat to be displayed on the main window and repeat the process to create a second one.

(you probably need to click so it isn't blurry)

Also, if the popout chat window is wide enough, it could display the chat info sidebar from the right.

Feel free to close this if it isn't possible with Kirigami or just would be hacky or too much to maintain.
