Message time dividers are sometimes incorrect

When opening this chat, all the messages below the "Today" divider were immediately there, and the ones above were retrieved later. However, when the messages above appeared, the "Today" divider stayed there, when I would expect it to disappear.

In the following example, all of the messages have been from today, so the divider should not be there.
