Downloading something doesn't show a system notification

$TITLE, basically.

When I download something via its inline download button in the message, progress is shown inline, which is good, but IMO it would be nice to get a system notification as well.

And when I download something without an inline download button (e.g. an image) by right-clicking > Save As..., there is no inline feedback at all.

In both cases, we would benefit from showing a system notification IMO.
