Socks5 proxy support in application settings

For anonymity or privacy/censorship-circumvention I need to use some proxy to access my homeserver, and I don't want a complex setup like double-VM routing etc.

Is there any settings in flatpak/flatseal for this ? Setting variables in flatseal didn't seem working. Otherwise, we need a proxy settings in Neochat. Telegram has proxy settings too.
