Notification state of the room state not retrieved on join

Description

It's not possible to change "Notification State" after joining the room. The option is grayed-out.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open app.
2. Join some room.
3. Right-click on the room and hover over "Notification State".

What is the current bug behavior?

The options to change "Notification State" are grayed-out.

What is the expected correct behavior?

The options should be available.
