Emoji shortcuts kill text

• Click on the text-message-box and type some letters, like "zxc"
• Hit space
• Type ":" (just a colon)
• The emoji-quick-pick pane pops up (this is not the full emoji-picker) (this also doesn't understand smileys like :P)
• Click an emoji (like the sunglasses-person)
• Entire text is replaced, rather than emoji being placed after / instead of the colon
