Make updates being available more obvious in compact mode · 1d28d910

Prior to this patch, once Discover was started up and in compact mode,
there would be no visible indication at all that updates were available,
unless the user manually pulled out the global drawer and spotted the
orange entry at the bottom. This introduces an inline message at the
top, giving the user a positive bit of information that there are in
fact updates available, and what they can do about that.

      Fix UpdateTransaction name · de1efba1
      Dan Leinir Turthra Jensen authored
The name returned by UpdateTransaction without this patch was "View
Updates", which especially in the Tasks view resulted in a very odd
looking situation where we had a task in progress whose description was
      "View Updates - Installing".

packagekit: stop supporting searches by package name · d1263d12
Aleix Pol Gonzalez authored and Aleix Pol Gonzalez's avatar Aleix Pol Gonzalez committed
Back when we started supporting appstream a lot of poorly maintained
apps didn't appear in the databases, this made using Discover
unbearable, hence adding the feature of searching the package name from
      the query.

Despite being against our vision, it made sense back then. Nowadays
applications should already have adopted AppStream in a way or another
      and this shouldn't apply anymore.
