The project was abandoned and archived for a while. For the past couple of years, the ALT Linux team has been developing a fork of this project for use in KDE-based distributions. Some features have been added, such as network setup, including connecting to an 802.1x access point, The KCM module has been rewritten in QML. Future plans include launching a greeter without Xorg, developing theme for tablet.

It seems it would be better if this project is developed here in KDE, and I am personally ready to do this.
