Roaming UI improvements

Just for testing, I have inserted my French ("LFM" operator) SIM card into my PinePhone (running PostMarket OS), while in Russia. Result and expectations:

  1. The top bar initially says that the signal strength is 0%. It should also say "searching" or something like that while the SIM is not registered in the network.
  2. After the SIM card has registered, the top bar says: "40% LFM (MTS RUS)", then it changes to "40% LFM (25001)". 25001 is indeed MTS RUS, so it should still be displayed as "MTS RUS".
  3. There should be (but actually isn't) some UI element in the status line at the top that indicates roaming.
  4. There should be (but actually isn't) some UI in the settings app that allows me to choose which operator to register in, instead of relying on the (often suboptimal or plain non-working) automatic choice by the SIM card. E.g. I might prefer BeeLine, not MTS.
