This question is not great UX - the user will likely just click through it without reading or thinking, and it further contributes to dialog fatigue. Instead, don't offer clearing starred items at all; if the user wants to remove them, they can do so "manually". This seems fine UX-wise, since it's unlikely that a user has a significant number of starred items that they suddently want to get rid of
