Use not deprecated KDE_INSTALL_MANDIR
You can use -M
option: kdesrc-build -M --run kcalc
.
Note that kde-builder
does it automatically with kde-builder@ea5759cb.

Okay. Maybe add a comment why this is needed to spare other people wondering why the code just above doesn't suffice. Add the workaround as-is. On systems using lib64
the original code will likely work.
it is more a question of why Qt ignores the libname and puts it in lib anyways. all of my kdesrc-build kf6 is in lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ (and pkgconfig in lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/pkgconfig)
I'm wondering why the loop in lines 690-698 doesn't work for you. It looks like it should already add the pkgconfig in qt_installdir. Maybe you need to set the libname
option to lib
?
This reverts commit a0d0342f.
I guess we can just append both; unless stuff is very weird, it is unlikely to make any real difference ?
I set it to ${GNUPGDIR}/lib64/pkgconfig
where GNUPGDIR is my prefix for the gnupg stuff. Anyway, I just wanted to point out that on Tumbleweed one has to use lib64
instead of lib
. I think you should check if either path exists before setting the variable to a not existing path.
@ashark after spending around 20 seconds, I found that index.docbook is having quite some mentioned copyright holders that you are removing.
I also checked the rest of the doc folder, and that looks like files split out from that file, but their copyright not carried over when it got split out.
I'm quite dissapointed. and annoyed. I had expected to come back to something better.

Whenever I run kdesrc-build --run kate I get:
Fetching remote changes to sysadmin-repo-metadata
Merging sysadmin-repo-metadata changes from branch master
It slows down the startup and is really annoying. Is there a way to disable this?
