Dolphin Meeting at Akademy 2022

(not to be confused with the nearby Dolphin Meeting in the open sea in the same time frame)

Do you have a specific topic that you want to talk about? We could go into the meeting without a fixed agenda. If you have a specific topic in mind, it would be helpful if you wrote a comment about it below so people can prepare for it. All KIO-related topics are also welcome as long as they affect Dolphin (or do you think we shouldn't try to discuss KIO and Dolphin separately?).

I feel like the topic that makes the most sense to talk about for an international remote group like us is figuring out the biggest areas of improvement for Dolphin. I believe everyone has their own idea what would really bring Dolphin forward but having a list available somewhere with stuff that would make Dolphin substantially more useful for users would be neat. Obvious examples of such stuff are allowing Dolphin to manage root-owned items or transparent file transfer progress to/from removable media. I'll bring a list with things that I consider worth highlighting. I hope you will too. We can then loosely talk about and prioritise what we think are the biggest potential areas of improvement. In the end we will hopefully have some kind of list that can help proficient developers figure out how they can have a huge impact. It also might make sense to consider fundraising at one point for the big tasks that can't be implemented without much effort.

As the meeting time I have set Tuesday 15:00 in Room 3 for now. If you think there are any issues with that time we can change it.
