applet: display "configure" and "refresh" as standalone icons

They are selfexplanatory and there is no need for a menu, plus all other applets do not put configuration behind a menu

By the way, I tried compiling !53 (merged) and as far as I can tell, these are not duplicate. They are also compatible.
