If anyone has access to OS-X look at how they do this in the Finder, Mail etc. Seems to be the perfect balance between too heavy and too light. Certainly one source for design ideas...

Add Microsoft Windows (Explorer) and Mac OS X (Finder) equivalents as keywords to help new users find Dolphin, org.kde.dolphin.desktop
If a user types "Windows Explorer" or "File Explorer" will Explorer be sufficient?

Add Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X equivalents as keywords to help ...
and Finder for ex-Mac users
Why not add the exact windows equivalent, such as Explorer?
This option seems to be completely missing from my keyboard preferences? Am I missing something? [Manjaro, Plasma 5.22.5, Frameworks 5.87.0, Kernel 5.14.10-1]
When I open Firefox with a different gtk theme to Breeze selected in system preferences, and then switch to Breeze with Firefox still open, mouseover effects are correct. i.e. the minimise, maximise, and close buttons all enlarge slightly on mouseover.
When I open Firefox with Breeze selected, mouseover effects on minimise and close are lost. The buttons do not react on mouseover.
Hi. I have an Lenovo Ideapad running kernel 5.12 it should support "quiet" "intelligent cooling" and "high performance profiles". These are significantly different as they allow different max thermal ceiling on the cpu (12W, 20W, 32W).
In userspace support for this has been merged on Gnome, see:
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/hadess/power-profiles-daemon/-/merge_requests/41
Is there equivalent on KDE?
In terms of usage, 3 buttons in the battery-and-brightness pop up area in the system tray would allow faster profile switching then having to dig into system preferences. I believe a mockup of this was floating around a while back?
Also:
/sys/firmware/acpi/platform_profile
and
/sys/firmware/acpi/platform_profile_choices
don't exist on my system. could I create these if I want to try manual switching?
