Fork KDialog into KoDialog · ec76064f
      Boudewijn Rempt authored
We have a hundred or so kdialog-based dialogs in calligra. It's not
feasible to port all of them the to the much clumsier QDialog api,
so for KoDialog and strip it of kdelibs4support dependencies.

Added a Background Color feature to KisImage · b1c1ba3a
      Dmitry Kazakov authored
Now the user can choose the Background color for the projection.
Just go to Image->Properties->Background Color and choose the one
you want. And you'll never see the checkers anymore :)

This also fixes EXR images, which should have a black BG color

      * Make masks and layers inherit a common baseclass: KisNode. Create
code in krita/image to handle the new layer hierarchy.
      * Remove KisMetaRegistry
      * Remove the "super" typedefs
      * Fix bugs demonstrated by unittests
      * Add several unittests -- some show that we have some bugs still.
      * Considerably simplify the api of KisPaintDevice and Kisimage
      * Add several more options for perfomance and tweak others to give
        better performance by default
      * Sanitize the dirty setting of rects
      * Start working on extracting the prescaling and canvas preview update
        spaghetti into a separate class.
      * Re-instate the fast-but-ugly nearest-neighbour scale option (doesn't
work yet, is part of the above)

Warning: this commit breaks some stuff, notably the adding of layers
and masks. Painting, redisplay using QPainter and opengl and selections
should be fine, without regressions. I am still working on the layer/mask
issue and on the display thing, but apart from these two issues, Krita
is reasonably stable again. There are two Umbrello diagrams in krita/doc
that show the new layer design and the way the selection classes fit
      together.

      * Move the colorspaces to their own shared library. · b6553212
      Boudewijn Rempt authored
There are still a few problems, because I made a few mistakes with
file placing that I can only fix by committing, fixing and commiting.
Also, the library isn't completely independent of the rest of Krita yet,
        see the TODO.
      * Add an uml diagram of the histogram design.
      * Add a meta registry -- that needs to be expanded so it becomes a central
database for all the stuff we have in the myriad of singletons.
      * Fix the HACKING file about getters and setters to conform to Qt standards.

      Boudewijn Rempt authored
      * Do not keep a copy of the profile in the image; it's already in the colorspace
      * Make the image properties dialog not depend on KisView
      * add another getter to the colorspace registry, one that takes a profile pointer
and uses the productname to get a colorspace
      * rename KisImage::profile to KisImage::getProfile to conform to our hacking
        standard.

Krita resources such as filters and colour models.
      * Small optimization: if we create a black, transparent image, use the
default tiles and don't create tiles for the entire image size.
      * Fix in kis_iterator_pixel: advance the selection iterator with just as much
      as the pixel iterator.
      * Added filter test to the performance tests -- these make Krita run out of
      memory, though.

      * Added infrastructure for scaling and resizing of layers and images
      * Scaling images works (but with generic transform, nothing fancy like smootscale,

Todo is: scaling images (scale all layers), resizing layers, enabling
the resolution controls in the imagesize dialog and storing and restoring the
preferred settings in the dialog. And a better scale algorithm.
