How to have PDF intermediary files in another temporary folder?
Using PDFLaTeX.
Before compilation with Kile PDFLaTeX:
ls
all.tex
Note that when open all.tex
in Kile it automatically compile and render the PDF but the compilation files are not present in the all.tex
folder.
After compilation with Kile PDFLaTeX:
ls
all.aux all.log all.out all.pdf all.synctex.gz all.tex all.toc
What temporary folder and how would it make it secure (i.e.) not leaking to unauthorized softwares or/and users?
-aux-directory=/tmp/
does not work (source: the Stack Overflow answer 4489821).
all.synctex.gz
is still present after closing Kile following the setting reminded in the Stack Overflow answer 77192978, otherwise it is a good intermediary solution but would like to have the source folder clean even while Kile is running, see #12.
