Proper motion of stars in KStars differs significantly from those shown by SIMBAD

Investigate: Is this natural error because the numbers are from different sources, or are they referenced to a different epoch? In particular, we had a bug filed long ago saying that Hipparcos positions were referenced to J1990 or some such epoch. It would be good to check if we are getting the right coordinates and proper motions for both bright and dim stars.
