Scheduler starting on paused simulation should warn
Scheduler starting on a simulation clock that is paused should open a warning to the end-user.
The advantage of keeping the KStars simulation clock paused is that no object moves in the simulation. Besides, there is a great reduction in cpu usage.
-
Design a timed pop-up that displays after clicking on the Scheduler start button and before starting Scheduler, in the case the KStars simulation clock is paused. -
The pop-up must be an OK/Cancel question, must warn the user that the paused simulation clock prevents Scheduler from executing, and that accepting will reset the clock to the system time before starting Scheduler. -
The default action must be to accept the pop-up, which must set the KStars simulation clock to the system time and start that clock with a period of one second. -
The reject action must not start the Scheduler, and must leave the KStars simulation clock unmodified. -
The delay of the timed pop-up must be the same sensible default as other timed pop-ups.
