Ensure exactly one directory separator

Wolfgang Reissenberger requested to merge wreissenberger/kstars:bugfix_placeholder_separators into master

Adapt the default format and the composition of directory and format such that there is always exactly one directory separator when the two strings are joint. This is especially interesting on the Windows platform, where "...\..." <> "...\\...", while on unix, double file separators are ignored.
