Distribution fitting - results validation
I want to make a new video on how to fit a distribution, but there is some issue with the fitting results. I'm enclosing a project file with some normally generated data N(0,1). I get different results while trying to validate the fitting results with these tools:
- R-based: http://www.wessa.net/rwasp_fitdistrnorm.wasp (Code in R: http://www.wessa.net/rcomp/tmp/4d1dji63nhd1655359752.R)
- Python-based: https://share.streamlit.io/rdzudzar/distributionanalyser/main/main.py
Both tools give the same estimates of m = 0.02 and stdev = 0.85. LabPlot estimates: m = -0.11, stdev = 0.75.
I guess LabPlot selects different points to be fitted, but I'm not sure.
