Follow-up from "Only apply rotation in Globe projection"
The following discussion from !36 (merged) should be addressed:

@rahn started a discussion: Actually this should rather be called "const bool supportsViewportRotation =" (and we might want to add this capability to the AbstractProjection class to check for its availability. This would then default to false and would be set for true for SphericalProjection, GnomonicProjection and StereographicProjection. Your patch is not taking into account the latter two projections. Of course it would be super cool if the CylindricalProjections would be supported as well (which would require some changes in the CylindricalProjection class as well as in the GenericScanlineTextureMapper) but that's some wishful thinking ;-)
Mantas: would you mind to include the Gnomonic and Stereographic projection as well? :-)
