Remove long unused identity codec classes

Volker Krause requested to merge work/vkrause/remove-unused-identity-codecs into master

Those are not exported and are commended out in the factory method since ages. Usefulness and implementation of those look dubious as well, and would complicate a transition to a view-based API for encoding inputs.
