This fork aims to create a layout of images (in the "albums" panel) which shows their relationships to one another by arranging images along two axis of sorting, each relative to the selected image. For example: in the grid of displayed images, images above and below are older and newer, while images to the left and right are alphabetically sequential.

The default layout of thumbnails when viewing images in "albums" is that it automatically wraps the sequential images to a new line when it hits the edge of the panel/window.
