Add meta-data updating to the update resource function.

I was going to do more, but my second bug-fix attempt (dealing with gradient-previews) kinda failed.

Anyway, this fixes IS-446686

Test Plan

  1. Make gamut mask with description.
  2. Edit gamut mask, change description.
  3. Observe gamut mask docker in list mode to see the description change.
