Missing transcode profile
Hey there!
When opening a clip with variable frame rate, it offers up a x264 all i-frame profile to transcode into.
This profile is missing from the list of transcode profiles when you look in Kdenlive's settings menu. Where is it stored? How can one modify it?
Honestly, I would prefer to also transcode to plain x264 with i-b-p frames and a bit rate that matches or slightly exceeds the source material, with a slightly slower preset. This would keep the quality intact and use the same amount of disk space.
Most variable frame rate footage comes from phones which lack processing power and so do not really offer the best compression/speed trade off. Re-encoding that on a computer with much more CPU should keep the quality intact, and not really use much more disk space. Searching through normal x264 footage is pretty fast, and with proxies this is also an issue that is greatly mitigated.
