Feature request - Show frame being cut
Hi there! I don't think any video editor has this, and it could be a cool feature to have.
When adjusting the beginning or an end of the clip, the play head does not move, and this a good thing. However, as you are adjusting, you might be interested in how the frame looks that you are adjusting.
A little pop-up screen that shows the frame of the beginning or end of the clip while the mouse is down would be awesome, and save quite a bit of time.
This would allow the user to match a frame of the clip he is adjusting in length to the frame of where the play head is at.
It's hard to overstate how important it is to get the transitions between two clips right, and the editor needs all the help that is possible.
Of course, the pop-up view would have to be adjustable in size & position relative to the clip as well as be able to be toggled off.
What do you think? Would this be a cool feature, or a waste of time? If you have video thumbnails turned on, you already have something of a preview of this when adjusting the length of a clip, as the displayed frame changes as you adjust the end of the clip, but it's too small to be usable.
