Default capture folder.
Hi there!
I have Kdenlive set up this way in respect with default project folder:
This does exactly what I want, as every time Kdenlive opens up, the directory is set to that Un-selected folder at the bottom there, which is close to where I save all my projects. That directory is my default directory, and even though it is un-selected somehow provides the value to kdenlive when it starts up.
Once I define a project folder by saving my Project in another directory, that newly defined folder becomes the directory used for everything related to that project.
However, if I capture audio before defining a project it the recorded files go into my home folder. Technically that's not wrong, but I don't like cluttering my home folder.
It's not wrong because on the setup it is not possible to define a default folder AND having all files related to a Project go to whatever the active project folder is.
So, the change I would like to see would be to define a default folder that is the folder where everything goes while the project has not been saved yet. And then have the recordings go to that folder instead of my home folder until the project is saved. After the project is saved, all recordings should go to the newly defined project folder.
Ah, I thought of a concise way to say it: I would like to be able to set a Default folder for "All files go to Project folder"
