[Suggestion] remove CTRL standard key from ZOOM IN and ZOOM OUT hotkeys.
asking this because, on Windows systems, the CTRL key can be used on one-time functions (ON/OFF) without issues... but it's better to not use it on "progressive items" like sliders... this because the CTRL+SHIFT (on Windows systems) is a "special" combo to LOCK the CTRL status to always ON, and need another press of CTRL+SHIFT to make again the CTRL again to normal status.
personally i'm using a jog shuttle (like other people i can imagine).. and i use windows and linux (i prefer windows because my jogshuttle is an only Windows device.. the keys can be configured with a windows application..like a programmable mouse)
well.. moving the zoom-in/out and at the same time moving the cursor on previous/next clip (to search a apecific point on the project zooming and moving) is making the CTRL+SHIFT combination.
Sure, i can change the kdenlive hotkeys every time i reinstall the new version of kdenlive.. but this make the use of jogshuttle very trickly (it's necessary to download a kdenlive preset for the jog shuttle and the same time change the default hotkeys... not sure an user frendly task)
if i can ask can be nice and can solve issue to replace CTRL+ "+" and CTRL+ "-" standard hotkeys to: SHIFT+ "+" and SHIFT+ "-" .. ( on windows these combos are not doing anything on kdenlive..and i suppose also on linux)
just because the basic functions of any jogshuttle are ZOOM-In / ZOOM-OUT , NEXT FRAME / PREVIOS FRAME , NEXT CLIP / PREVIOUS CLIP, CUT , PLAY, STOP (the zoom is always a very useful function for this kind of device, and Windows users can experiencing strange things when a locked CTRL is pressed.... mouse whell not working but zooming... like CUT/PASTE unwanted things... etc ... etc)
very thank you for any help on this.
